ATDC

ATDC (Advanced Technology Development Center) is the start-up incubator in the GCATT Building, where several new advanced telecommunications companies receive assistance in building businesses.

To date, the impact of the 20 ATDC companies incubated at GCATT exceeds $270 million in shareholder value due to funding and acquisition. Over 600 jobs have been created as well.

Faculty-based start-ups include Digital Furnace (acquired by Broadcom), RF Solutions, EG Technology, and Quellan. Some other ventures started at ATDC/GCATT are Future Networks (acquired by Tellabs), Simtrex, Synchrologic, Media4 (acquired by EchoStar), and Air2Web.
