Overview
The GCATT
Office of Technology Commercialization works to improve economic
development, new venture formation, and technology licensing among
the GCATT centers.
The Office
of Technology Commercialization works closely with the Advanced
Technology Development Center (ATDC), the nationally-recognized
business incubator at Georgia Tech that works to accelerate the
formation and growth of technology-based companies in Georgia.
The Office
of Technology Commercialization is pursuing these goals:
- New
Venture Formation: Create more successful GCATT technology-based
ventures.
- Landing
Parties: Collaborate with established corporations that
are forming specialized product development groups.
- GCATT
Faculty Commercialization: Validate and communicate a proactive
intellectual property licensing model for GCATT-based programs.
- GCATT
as a Community Resource: Promote
GCATT as a focal point for issues affecting communications technologies
and businesses.
