Overview

The GCATT Office of Technology Commercialization works to improve economic development, new venture formation, and technology licensing among the GCATT centers.

The Office of Technology Commercialization works closely with the Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC), the nationally-recognized business incubator at Georgia Tech that works to accelerate the formation and growth of technology-based companies in Georgia.

The Office of Technology Commercialization is pursuing these goals:

  • New Venture Formation: Create more successful GCATT technology-based ventures.
  • Landing Parties: Collaborate with established corporations that are forming specialized product development groups.
  • GCATT Faculty Commercialization: Validate and communicate a proactive intellectual property licensing model for GCATT-based programs.
  • GCATT as a Community Resource: Promote GCATT as a focal point for issues affecting communications technologies and businesses.
